The Consular Department of the Embassy of Russia in Germany informs:

Citizens of the Russian Federation who have received a positive response from the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Bonn following verification of Russian citizenship may book an appointment to apply for a foreign passport only after prior coordination with the consular department by email:

infokonsulat@russische-botschaft.de

When writing a request, you must be sure to include the following in the request:

— Last name/First name/Patronymic

— Country/Federal state

— City/locality/Postal address

— Email address

— Contact phone number

If the request does not indicate the citizen's last name or address, no reply will be given to the request.

— The request must be written in Russian, with the text divided into sentences. Requests that lack information sufficient for their consideration, as well as requests whose text does not make the substance of the question understandable, will be returned to the applicants.

— The applicant may attach necessary documents and materials to the request in electronic form. The following file formats are acceptable: txt, doc, rtf, xls, pdf, jpg, bmp, tif.

— It is not recommended to send requests concerning third parties, as information in such cases is most often distorted.

— The reply to the applicant will be sent to the postal/email address indicated in the request.

Information about applicants' personal data is stored and processed in compliance with the requirements of Russian legislation.

Due to the partial blocking by Google of emails sent from the kdmid ru mail server to Gmail user mailboxes, the operation of a number of consular services has been hindered.

In this regard, it is strongly recommended to avoid using the Gmail mail service (addresses ending in gmail.com) when communicating with the Embassy/consular department of Russia in Germany.
