TYUMEN

Tyumen Region is located mainly in Western Siberia and is part of the Ural Federal District.
The region borders several constituent entities of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.
A feature of Tyumen Region is that two other federal subjects of Russia are territorially part of it: the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, which received the status of independent federal subjects in 1993.

The region has deposits of mineral resources that meet the main needs of modern economic development: hydrocarbons (oil and associated petroleum gas), construction sands and clays, molding and glass sands, agrochemical raw materials (peat, sapropel), titanium-zirconium minerals, and others.
The region is rich in fresh water resources. It has significant reserves of mineral waters.

The availability of qualified personnel plays a significant role in forming the agro-industrial zone of advanced growth.
The demand for workers with higher education has formed in the following professions: doctors, teaching staff, engineers, and managers.
Qualified specialists in agriculture, primarily agronomists and veterinarians, are in steady demand among employers. Given the modernization and technical and technological re-equipment of agricultural production, qualified machine operators and livestock specialists are also in demand.
Most districts of the region also need qualified specialists in construction, the food industry, and the social sphere, including education, healthcare, and culture.
In addition, there is a shortage of qualified personnel in certain industries (the petrochemical cluster, the cluster for extraction of other minerals, the tourism sector, the innovative and information technology cluster, and others).

Tyumen Region extends the validity of the resettlement program for compatriots until 2030.

One can participate in the State Program both as a compatriot and as a repatriate. The territories of resettlement for participants of the State Program as compatriots in Tyumen Region have been determined to be 24 municipal entities. The city of Tyumen itself does not participate in the resettlement program.

The region provides compatriots with a one-time financial assistance for settling in during the adaptation period in the territory of resettlement, including social and housing assistance, as well as for medical examination, recognition of academic degrees, academic titles, education and qualifications obtained in a foreign state, vocational training, additional professional education, and additional Russian language courses.

Compatriots who have legal capacity, are aged 18 to 60 for women and 18 to 65 for men, and meet the requirements of the State Program may take part in the State Program in Tyumen Region.
This requirement does not apply to compatriots engaged in teaching and/or research activities (provided a properly executed employment contract is submitted). It also does not apply to foreign citizens and citizens of the Russian Federation permanently residing in foreign states who commit unfriendly actions against Russia, or to foreign citizens who arrived in the territory of the Russian Federation in an emergency mass manner and were recognized as refugees or granted temporary asylum.

Employers in different districts need qualified specialists such as doctors, additional education teaching staff, and engineers, economists, electricians, veterinarians, agronomists, electric welders, accountants, bakers, confectioners, foreign language teachers, special education teachers, and educational psychologists.

Participants of the State Program solve housing arrangement issues independently, at their own expense.
