Meeting between “Path Home” and representatives of the Compatriots Support Foundation branch
On September 24, a truly warm and important meeting took place in Kaliningrad between participants in the “Path Home” project and representatives of the Compatriots Support Foundation branch. We came together to speak honestly and openly about pressing issues, the real difficulties people face every day when relocating, and how to help them.
We discussed in detail issues that concern many people, from ordinary bureaucracy and obtaining certificates of no criminal record to the most sensitive matter—children’s adaptation to a new place. It can be very difficult for them to settle into a new school, and it is our shared task to support them during this transitional period.
The Foundation’s main role is to provide strong legal protection for compatriots, especially in the Baltic countries and the EU. Experts help defend the right to education, preserve the Russian language, and maintain cultural ties with home. Now the Kaliningrad branch will become a lively venue for communication and mutual legal assistance. Useful seminars, workshops, and meetings with students lie ahead.
If you or your loved ones need support right now, remember that you are not alone. You can request a consultation in person or online. Join our regional group in Kaliningrad; we will walk this path together.
