Kaluga for living and building a career: Highlights from the third day of the press tour
Kaluga attracts people relocating with a unique combination: here, career opportunities and high-tech industries on a capital-city level go hand in hand with a cozy, unhurried atmosphere for raising children and affordable housing.
This region defies stereotypes, proving that successful business and a high quality of life can coexist perfectly just a couple of hours’ drive from Moscow, surrounded by pristine nature.
On the final, third day of our press tour, we will continue visiting the places that matter most to those who are still considering a move from afar. We are heading to the modern Right Bank district to assess its new residential neighborhoods and infrastructure, and then we will move on to the ultra-modern Central Sports Palace. There, we will enjoy truly active recreation and an introduction to the trendy sport of padel—a dynamic sport rapidly winning the hearts of Kaluga residents.
We will get a taste of the region’s culinary history with a sampling of the famous and unique “Kaluga dough”, while also seeing another enterprise in action. The cultural highlight and largest destination of the day will be a journey into the mysteries of space at the legendary State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after Tsiolkovsky.
