Rossotrudnichestvo, ANO “Path Home” and the administration of Sverdlovsk Region have organized a press tour for a team of bloggers who once relocated to Russia from various countries.

The tour program includes getting to know Yekaterinburg’s attractions, visiting social facilities, major industrial enterprises, and notable places around the city. The trip will begin with a meeting between the participants and representatives of the regional administration and organizations that help resettlers. They will talk about the city’s existing social infrastructure for supporting compatriots and foreign expats who wish to settle in the capital of the Urals. Two of the largest industrial giants—the Russian Copper Company JSC and Pipe Metallurgical Company PJSC—will talk about their vacancies and working conditions. At the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia, B. N. Yeltsin, educational programs will be presented, and visitors will get an inside look at student life. The bloggers will also see what a kindergarten, school, polyclinic, sports complex, and city theater look like inside and how they are equipped. In addition, they will be shown an unusual place that few ordinary residents ever see: the video surveillance center for the new Akademichesky district. After all, safety in the streets and courtyards, especially for children, is a primary concern for parents today. It is well known that most resettlers are people with families and children.

Of course, the hosts have also prepared an entertainment program for their guests: a Ural cuisine master class, a visit to a swimming pool, and the Hermitage-Ural cultural and educational center. The bloggers will also visit the Europe–Asia border by the memorial obelisk.

And, of course, meetings are planned with people who have already relocated to the region, settled into their new surroundings, and even started their own small businesses.

The trip to Yekaterinburg is the first of four planned for 2026. Nine popular media content creators are taking part.
