Special procedure for exporting gold bars weighing more than 100 grams in total from the Russian Federation

The corresponding Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of March 25, 2026 No. 193 “On the special procedure for exporting cash in the Russian Federation and refined gold bars from the Russian Federation” has been published.

Gold bars with a total weight of more than 100 grams may be exported from Russia:

➖to EAEU countries by individuals and legal entities, as well as individual entrepreneurs, subject to a conclusion (permit) from the Federal Assay Chamber, and only through the international airports of Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo (Moscow) and Knevichi (Vladivostok)

➖to countries that are not members of the EAEU:

- by individuals, subject to a conclusion (permit) from the Federal Assay Chamber, and only through the international airports of Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo (Moscow) and Knevichi (Vladivostok)

- by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, under the generally established procedure (in compliance with non-tariff regulation measures).

❗️ The restriction does not apply to credit institutions.

The Decree enters into force on May 1, 2026.
