The Federal Customs Service website has launched a service for searching information on payment of the vehicle recycling fee

The Federal Customs Service of Russia has launched a service for checking payment of the recycling fee by vehicle VIN.
This service provides information on payment of the recycling fee for vehicles, self-propelled machines, and trailers imported into the Russian Federation.

The service allows users to search for information:

▶️on payment of the recycling fee; 
▶️on the date and customs authority that processed the customs receipt order; 
▶️on whether the vehicle was imported for personal or commercial use.

To use the service, you need to enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle, self-propelled machine, or trailer.

IMPORTANT
🟩The service does not check the completeness or accuracy of the calculation and payment of the recycling fee. 
🟩The information obtained through it is for reference purposes only and does not serve as grounds for legally significant actions.
🟩This is not a check of the fact of customs clearance in the EAEU.

In practice, the service does not show everyone information on payment of the recycling fee or whether the vehicle was imported for personal use (3 photos).
